Below is and account of the two UFO’s I observed flying over Moscow. Now before you jump on any bandwagon, UFO means Unidentified Flying Object and nothing more. So what I am about to relay was, in every sense of the definition, a sighting of 2 UFO’s.
I have already written about this on Facebook, but, as it was part of my journey, it would be wrong of me not to mention it here.
It happened on the 18th July 2018, on banks of The Moskva River in Central Moscow, Just down from Gorky Park, at the statue of Peter The Great (see Picture), between 23:00 & 00:01. It was dark with almost 10/10ths cloud cover. The cloud was reflecting a lot of light of the city back down, it was reasonably quiet due to the late hour and there was not much movement near me or in the general area. If you look at the picture you will see the conditions, as this picture was taken approximately 15 minutes before the sighting.
I was sat underneath the statue of peter the great looking up at it, when I noticed 2 balls of light flying over the top of it. The orbs where a white colour but seemed to be darker in the middle growing brighter towards the edge. However, neither of them were really bright and If I had not been looking directly at the point they passed through, I would not have seen them. The lights maintained the same brightness (or dullness) at all times and did not pulse or vary in their degree of illumination. Their were no navigation lights or flashing lights of any sort.
From the angle I viewed them it appeared they lights were just below the cloud base, which I estimate to be somewhere between 1000 & 1500 feet but this may have been lower? They were in a kind of formation, in that the second orb sat to the rear right of the first and maintained the equidistant between the two for the entire time that I tracked them. It appears the orbs were following a track that matched the rough direction of the Moscva river. I could hear no noise as they transited overhead. I cannot accurately estimate the speed of travel but it was not lightening quick but faster than anything can move on the ground.
My impression of size was that the lights were not big and perhaps 1 meter(ish) in diameter, however I would not stake any reputation on this. I saw them for approximately 15 seconds , during which time they maintained the same track, before they disappeared from my view
I was not the only person to view the phenomenon.
Whatever I saw were definitely under intelligent control, but by whom and from where I obviously cannot say.
They were physical objects and not ball lightening etc
They were below the cloud base, so were not passing satellites etc
My initial thought was ‘Drones’ but there are a number of factors which make me question this.
•No navigation lights
•Perfect undeviating formation
It has been two weeks since the sighting and I have tried to consider what I saw, whilst also maintaining a rational approach. Obviously I can draw no conclusion whatsoever! This is why the sighting has to be viewed as UFO’s.
For those who know what such things are, they seem to match the description of ‘Foo Fighters’ (not the band, its what the band took their name from), but again that’s speculation and cannot be proved.
This is the first time I have seen any such UFO and it has also been interesting because of some of the comments I received on facebook, which have questioned or ‘told’ me exactly what I saw. I have been quite surprised that people who were not even on the same continent as me, let alone sat viewing what I saw, categorically tell me that ‘this is what you saw’; It is interesting how many people will blindly disregard a factual statement by someone because the situation described does not sit easily with their personal view on things. With this thought in mind it will be interesting to read other people’s experiences of sightings of UFO’s, which lets face it, are in the whole dismissed by the majority or even ridiculed by people who may even have been on the opposite side of the planet!
Since the sighting I have looked at a couple of reported sightings online, to try to make a comparison. What i did find interesting was that:- whenever there was an ‘official’ explanation given to a particular reported sighting, the gulf between what the viewer(s), reported, to what was then described by the ‘official’ source (who again had not seen the phenomenon), ranged from the amusing to the downright ludicrous.
Another fact that was highlighted for me was when I was asked if I had ‘video’ or a picture of the sighting, which I did not. If I had been inclined and quick enough to grab my iPhone and capture some footage, or even a still picture of the sighting, what would I actually have got? Would it have been a clear image which portrayed exactly what I was seeing with my own eyes, or would it have been a blurry, poorly taken shot, with (if I was lucky, considering how pale the orbs were), two random bits of light caught in the frame??
Whatever it was I saw, it has made for a very interesting subject to consider, from the view of the actual sighting to the reaction of those who commented on it!
